Dealer-level work on every Audi from the A1 to the Q8, with your digital service record kept up to date. Local garage prices.
Your independent Audi garage
Langs Automotive looks after Audis from across Dorset and Hampshire from our workshop at Three Legged Cross, near Wimborne. We work on the whole range, from the A1, A3 and A4 to the Q-range SUVs and Audi Sport models, with the same depth of diagnostic equipment as a main dealer.
Every service follows Audi's schedule, uses genuine or OEM-quality parts and goes onto your car's digital service record. Whether your Audi is in warranty or long out of it, the history stays intact and you get main-dealer standards without main-dealer labour rates.
Audi owners also book in for an S tronic gearbox oil service, walnut blasting on TFSI engines, ECU remapping, ice blasting for the engine bay and underbody, and laser wheel alignment after new tyres or suspension work.

Diagnostics
A modern Audi runs on dozens of control units, from engine management and the S tronic gearbox to adaptive suspension, driver assistance and the MMI. A generic code reader can't see deep enough to find the cause. Our equipment has full Audi/VAG protocol access, so we can:
Warning light on, or a fault that's been misdiagnosed elsewhere? Book our vehicle diagnostics and we'll find the cause first.
What we see on the ramp
Direct-injection TFSI petrol engines, including the 1.4, 1.8, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0, build up carbon on the back of the intake valves. Rough idle, misfires, hesitation and poorer economy follow. Walnut blasting clears the deposits without taking the engine apart.
Jerky or slipping shifts, shudder pulling away and mechatronic warnings are common on S tronic (DSG) gearboxes that have missed oil changes. We service both dry-clutch and wet-clutch units. See our S tronic and DSG gearbox oil service.
Earlier 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI engines are known for timing chain tensioner wear and, on some, heavy oil consumption. A rattle on a cold start or an oil level that keeps dropping is the warning. Caught early, it's a planned repair rather than a new engine.
TDIs used mainly for short journeys can stick an EGR valve, block the DPF or throw AdBlue faults, often with limp mode. We find the cause first, then clean, regenerate or replace as needed. See vehicle diagnostics.
A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 models with adaptive air suspension can develop leaking air struts and failing compressors. A corner sitting low after standing overnight is the usual sign. We diagnose, repair and replace with OEM components.
Window regulators, MMI faults, key coding and component adaptation. Our diagnostic equipment reads every module on the car, not just the engine.
Every Audi, every model
RS and R8 models have their own model-specific prices on our Audi RS and R8 specialist page. Driving a Volkswagen too? See our Volkswagen servicing.
RS, R8 & Audi Sport
An RS3, RS4, RS6, TT RS or R8 takes more oil, performance-grade lubricants and, on the V8s, twin air filters, with tighter tolerances on brakes and suspension. We have a dedicated Audi Sport service with prices for every RS model and the R8.

No. UK competition law lets you have your car serviced by an independent garage without affecting the manufacturer warranty, as long as the work follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality. We service to Audi's schedule and record every service properly.
Yes. Our diagnostic equipment has access to Audi's digital service system, so every service we carry out is logged on your car's official record, the same as a main-dealer entry. That protects your warranty and resale value.
It depends on the car. Some Audis are on a fixed schedule, and many newer ones use variable servicing where the car tells you when it's due based on how it's driven. Give us your registration and we'll check exactly what yours needs.
A minor (12 month / 10,000 mile) service starts from £155.25 and a major (24 month / 20,000 mile) service from £299.83. Prices vary with the engine, oil grade and spark plugs. Call us with your registration for an exact price.
A cambelt and water pump replacement starts from £450, depending on the engine. It's generally due around 100,000 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. Leave it too long and a snapped belt can wreck the engine.
Walnut blasting cleans carbon from the back of the intake valves on direct-injection TFSI engines. Rough idle, misfires, lost power and worse economy are the signs. We recommend it about every 40,000 miles on affected engines. See our walnut blasting service.
Yes. The RS3, RS4, RS5, RS6, RS7, RS Q3, RS Q8, TT RS and R8 all need specific oil grades, capacities and filters, so they have their own prices. See our Audi RS and R8 servicing page.

As a nervous user of garages (due to past poor experiences), I was pleasantly surprised about the high level of service Rob Lang provided with our Mk6 Golf GTD, which wouldn't start, and was marooned on our driveway. He had it recovered to his premises within hours, and his technician diagnosed and solved several electrical problems, plus he gave it a full service and MOT (and valet). It now drives like when it was new and so will be reprieved. Rob then delivered the car to our house because we couldn't collect it for several days more. We can't thank him enough. His prices are fair and much better than a main dealer I suspect (and very importantly he kept us in the loop).
What a breath of fresh air! Having a problem with Audi RS6 suspension and when I called Rob Lang he booked me in same day to investigate. They identified the problem and also gave the car a good general inspection while it was up on the lift. Super friendly, very knowledgeable and I will be happy to get future routine servicing done by Langs from now on.
Amazing service, from start to finish the team were professional and explained everything. The knowledge and speed were second to none. Our car was fixed, serviced and unexpectedly cleaned within the timeframe quoted. They are not local to me but happy to travel for an excellent experience.
Having just purchased an Iveco Daily van that had a few issues that needed to be rectified, I used an Iveco dealership who surprisingly did not completely fix the problems. I met Rob and his team of experienced engineers and was extremely impressed by their knowledge and expertise. They identified the cause of all the outstanding problems. This is a company who know what they are doing, and their customer service skills are top-notch.
Got my car fully serviced yesterday, and was pleased with the thorough detail and information the team gave me. Nice office, clean unit and overall welcoming experience.
You cannot possibly go wrong by fully relying on their advice and guidance, with work that is second to none. Rob is knowledgeable and kind, with this pervading through all the staff. I was in a really tight spot with poor workmanship from another company; this was sorted out quickly and efficiently and everything made perfect. I cannot rate this company highly enough.
Fantastic team, top quality work at a great price - would definitely recommend.
I was recommended Langs and so glad they did. Amazing service where staff take the time to explain the work carried out. I highly recommend. Thank you Langs for a great experience.
Thanks so much for repairing my car Rob. Always first class service and know my car is in the best hands with you and the team there - would highly recommend.
