AUDI CAMBELT & WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT
From £450* Audi’s cambelt schedule is generally 100,000 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. Failure to replace on schedule risks catastrophic engine damage. We also handle wet belt servicing on EA288 EVO and other affected Audi engines.
WALNUT BLASTING
We recommend walnut blasting every 40,000 miles on TFSI direct-injection engines to remove carbon build-up from the back of the intake valves, restoring lost performance, fuel economy and throttle response.
GEARBOX OIL SERVICE

Modern Audis are sophisticated machines packed with electronic control units governing everything from engine management and DSG/S-tronic gearbox behaviour to adaptive suspension, ADAS, and infotainment. When a fault appears, generic OBD scanners simply can’t read deep enough to identify the cause.
At Langs Automotive, we use main-dealer-level diagnostic equipment with full Audi/VAG protocol access. That means we can:

TFSI Carbon Build-Up Direct-injection TFSI engines (1.4, 1.8, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0) suffer from carbon build-up on the intake valves over time, causing rough idle, misfires, hesitation and reduced economy. Our walnut blasting service removes the deposits without dismantling the engine.
DSG / S-Tronic Gearbox Issues Jerky shifts, slipping, mechatronic faults and shuddering on take-off are common on DSG and S-tronic gearboxes that haven’t had regular oil services. We carry out full gearbox oil and filter services on both wet and dry-clutch DSG units.
EGR & DPF Faults on TDI Diesels Audi TDI diesels can develop EGR valve sticking, DPF blockages and AdBlue system faults — particularly on cars used mainly for short journeys. We diagnose, clean, regenerate and replace as required.
Wet Belt Failures Certain Audi engines including the 1.0 TFSI and later 1.5 TFSI use a “wet belt” running in oil. These have a finite lifespan and failure causes catastrophic engine damage. We carry out preventative wet belt replacement before failure occurs.
Suspension & Air Suspension Faults Audi A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 models with adaptive air suspension can develop air strut leaks and compressor failures. We diagnose, repair and replace using OEM components.

Although they was unable to fix the problem (hydraulic high pressure pipe burst - requiring a special Audi tool to repressurise the system) they identified the problem and also gave the car a good general inspection while it was up on the lift.
